The Spirit and Sound of Steely Dan – Nearly Dan in Concert

Nearly Dan, a long-running Steely Dan homage band, perform a two-hour-plus concert of Steely Dan classics and deep cuts at Buxton Opera House.

Nearly Dan, now in their 29th year on the road, pay homage to the music of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker with a faithful but relaxed approach, bringing their own spirit and humour to each show. The two-hour-plus set spans Steely Dan's catalogue, from Countdown to Ecstasy through The Royal Scam, Aja and Gaucho, plus Donald Fagen's solo album The Nightfly, alongside classics such as Do It Again and Reelin' in the Years. The 2026 tour features a new line-up and a set list mixing deep cuts with the best-known favourites.
