Bird Migration Watch & Breakfast with Tom Brereton
About
An early-morning guided walk watching autumn bird migration with ecologist Tom Brereton, followed by bacon sandwiches and hot drinks at The Old Pottery.
Led by ecological consultant Tom Brereton, this sunrise walk at Symondsbury Estate offers the chance to witness visible autumn bird migration at its early-November peak. Participants will learn to count birds and identify species such as Woodpigeons, Skylarks, Chaffinches and Scandinavian thrushes by shape, flight and call, with possible sightings of birds of prey including Peregrine Falcon and Merlin. The morning, limited to 15 people, ends with hot bacon sandwiches and tea or coffee at The Old Pottery.
