Carried With Us: Coffin Decorating Workshop

This hands-on workshop invites participants to create embossed metal designs to decorate a coffin as part of the Festival of the Dead.

The workshop explores themes of grief, mortality, and memory. Attendees will create small, luminous metal pieces capturing an object, place, or moment connected to a loved one. These designs are then used to decorate the exterior of a coffin. Tilly Munro from Let’s Discuss Death will also be present to discuss death and grief literacy.
