About
A Halloween fancy dress gig at The Jam Jar pairing funk band Town of Cats with ska and reggae outfit The Cabarats.
The Jam Jar hosts a Halloween fancy dress party headlined by two festival bands, with a suggested theme of street felines versus cabaret rodents. Town of Cats bring funk rhythms, brass and wordplay-laden lyrics, while The Cabarats mix dub, ska, Eastern European and Middle Eastern influences with electronic textures. The night promises high energy music spanning ska, funk, reggae, hip hop, Afrobeat and Latin grooves. The event is for ages 18 and over.
