Weekend Resin

A two-Saturday beginners and improvers course at Mary Ward Centre, Stratford, teaching how to mix resin and combine it with mixed media to make jewellery.

This practical, project-based weekend course runs over two Saturdays and is aimed at both beginners and intermediate students. Tutor Sally Lees demonstrates the basic principles of using resin safely, including mixing, combining fabric, paper and other media, and adding jewellery findings. Students design and make their own resin jewellery, with more experienced learners constructing three-dimensional pieces using moulds. Resin, moulds and equipment are provided; participants bring a sketchbook with design ideas.
