Bird Survey - Tottenham Marshes

A free guided bird survey at Tottenham Marshes with a short talk on bird species and help with visual and birdsong identification.

The Conservation Volunteers' Paddock Practical Volunteers group runs a weekly bird survey, this week relocating to Tottenham Marshes while path improvement works take place at the Paddock. Participants join a short talk on a bird species or bird-related topic, then take part in a guided transect survey of the whole site, with help identifying birds visually and by birdsong. Booking multiple sessions is encouraged to build understanding of seasonal cycles and improve identification skills. The session runs from 10am to 11am and pre-booking via Eventbrite is essential.
