Peglar papers reading workshop

A reading workshop focused on the mysterious 'Peglar papers', documents linked to the lost John Franklin expedition.

The workshop involves reading high-resolution scans of the 'Peglar wallet', a document containing papers related to Henry Peter Peglar, a captain on HMS Terror. Participants will work on a collective transcription, reading the papers in order of difficulty, from the most legible to the most complex. The sessions explore the papers as a creative endeavor and a piece of art, rather than solely focusing on the Franklin expedition.
