Christmas Wreath Sculpture Pottery Workshop

A festive full-day pottery workshop with Helen McCormick hand-building a clay Christmas wreath at The Walronds in Cullompton.

Local ceramicist Helen McCormick leads a seven-hour workshop teaching participants to hand-build an everlasting Christmas wreath from clay using slab-building techniques. The morning covers designing and creating festive elements such as holly leaves, ivy, berries, pinecones and stars with natural textures, while the afternoon focuses on applying colour and finishing touches. All materials, tools, refreshments and kiln firing are included, with finished pieces ready for collection about six weeks later. No prior experience is needed and the event is open to ages 14 and over.
