Make a Ceramic Lamp Base

A small-group pottery day with Tina Hill-Art hand-building and decorating your own ceramic table lamp base at Shaldon Pottery Studio.

Tina Hill-Art leads a guided small-group workshop in which participants hand-build a ceramic table lamp base using traditional coiling or slab techniques. The day covers design considerations for stability and wiring access, with the afternoon devoted to decorating the base with slips and oxides. Suitable for all experience levels, the session runs 9:45am to around 4:30pm, with materials, tools, kiln firing and finishing included; finished lamp bases are fired and ready for collection roughly three weeks later.
