Looking After the Layers of Somerset: Archaeology and Nature

A Community Gallery exhibition about the National Trust’s care of local historic sites and landscapes.

Co-curated with the National Trust, volunteers and students, this exhibition explores archaeological and natural heritage at local National Trust places, including former military and defensive sites. Touchscreen content and oral histories help visitors explore conservation work. It is on view 10 July–31 October 2026; Weston Museum notes that most temporary exhibitions are free, but does not state whether admission to this exhibition has a separate charge.
