Western Front Association Commemoration

The Western Front Association holds its annual Armistice Day commemoration at the Cenotaph, with a two-minute silence and march past down Whitehall.

Every year on 11 November the Western Front Association stages a major commemoration at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, drawing thousands of onlookers. The ceremony is supported by the Ministry of Defence, which participates in the two-minute silence. Afterwards there is usually a march past down Whitehall.
