Repair Cafe Gerlan (Bethesda)

A free volunteer-run repair cafe where people bring broken items to be fixed while enjoying tea and coffee with neighbours.

Volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought by visitors, free of charge, while guests enjoy tea or coffee and chat with neighbours. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though most items are considered except microwaves for safety reasons. Visitors can also learn how repairs are done, and additional volunteer fixers are welcome to come along.
