Bethel (Tecstiliau) Repair Cafe

A free volunteer-run repair cafe where people bring broken items to be fixed while enjoying tea and coffee with neighbours.

Volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought along by members of the public, free of charge. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though most items are considered except microwaves. Visitors can enjoy tea or coffee, chat with neighbours while waiting, and even learn how the repair is done. Aspiring fixers are also welcome to come along and help out.
