Artist Kate Dawes leads a relaxed three-hour workshop introducing pen-drawing techniques and layered 'dry' watercolour to create botanical artwork. Participants work from a selection of winter foliage and flowers to produce an A4 piece that could serve as a festive card design. The session covers composition, colour mixing and developing personal style, and is open to complete beginners and more experienced artists alike. All materials are provided and the group is capped at ten people.
