The Welsh Group: An artists' collective giving a voice to the visual arts in Wales

An exhibition at Oriel Canfas Gallery showcasing work by The Welsh Group, Wales' leading professional artists' collective.

Oriel Canfas Gallery presents an exhibition by The Welsh Group, Wales' leading professional artists' collective, founded in 1948 as the South Wales Group and renamed in 1975. Members are united not by a single style or manifesto but by a commitment to high-quality contemporary art, representing a broad spectrum of conceptual and visual approaches across diverse media and processes. The exhibition highlights the group's longstanding contribution to the development and visibility of contemporary visual art in Wales and beyond.
