Domestic Abuse - Recognising the Red Flags & Accessing Local Support
About
A survivor-led afternoon of training and discussion on recognising domestic abuse red flags and accessing local support, hosted by Voices of Hope.
Voices of Hope hosts an in-person afternoon of survivor-led training and discussion at Walton Community Hub. Local survivors share first-hand experiences of abuse and what helped, with sessions covering red flags and coercive control, barriers to accessing support, how perpetrators may manipulate professionals, and the specialist and community services available locally. The 3.5-hour programme includes lunch, time for questions and practical examples, and is aimed at staff and volunteers from charities, community organisations, faith groups and council teams across Elmbridge and East Surrey.
