About
Neal Shasore and Michael Hall discuss queer communities, domestic spaces and the cultural legacy of the Arts and Crafts movement.
The conversation considers how homes offered refuge from public conventions and enabled queer expression, and how those expressions have entered mainstream cultural heritage. It connects Shasore’s essay in the Earthly Paradise Reader with Hall’s A Queer Inheritance: Alternative Histories in the National Trust. Admission is by pay-what-you-can donation, with a suggested contribution of £10; the official page says booking will open soon.
