About

A documentary screening and discussion with Tim Oshodi and Abel Holsborough about community-led housing, followed by a private exhibition view.

The documentary explores Nubia Way, the self-built housing project established by the Black housing co-operative Fusions Jameen. Original self-builder Tim Oshodi and artist Abel Holsborough discuss its connections with House for Artists in Barking and consider housing as a space for creativity, collective care and shared living. The screening runs 19:00–19:30, the conversation 19:30–20:00 and the exhibition private view 20:00–20:30. Booking is required, with pay-what-you-can donations and a suggested contribution of £10.
