Hainault Forest Conservation Workday

A hands-on conservation workday in Hainault Forest where adults help improve grassland and woodland habitats for wildlife.

Volunteers join the Hainault Forest conservation team for practical habitat work, meeting at the second car park. On 23 October the task is continuing to improve grassland areas for ground nesting birds, and on 30 October participants will construct a dead hedge to protect those areas. Sessions run from 10am to 2pm and are aimed at adults and seniors.
