Create a Comic

An October half-term comics workshop with illustrator Robin Henley, covering visual storytelling and comic-making for all abilities.

This inclusive half-term workshop, led by illustrator Robin Henley, introduces participants to how comics work and the conventions of visual storytelling. After warm-up exercises, attendees learn to break down a story idea before planning and drawing a comic page. All abilities are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced creators, and basic drawing materials are provided. The session includes a short lunch break, with attendees asked to bring a packed lunch and water bottle.
