Family Event: Make a Bat Box at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve

A family workshop at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve where children and adults build and decorate a wooden bat box to take home.

Kent Wildlife Trust hosts a family crafting session inside the Visitor Centre at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, where each group assembles and decorates a simple wooden bat box from a child-friendly kit — no tools needed. Participants learn about the bats that may use the box, how boxes support hibernation, and where best to hang the finished box at home. The session lasts 90 minutes, children must be supervised by an adult, and tickets include 20% off in the cafe on the day.
