Prem Sahib: Chamber

A major exhibition spanning over twenty years of Prem Sahib's sculpture, installation, painting and sound works exploring bodies, space and thresholds.

Chamber brings together works from more than twenty years of Prem Sahib's career, using familiar objects such as doors, heaters, clothing and mirrors that are altered or displaced to change how space is felt. The exhibition explores thresholds between public and private, visibility and concealment, with sound and temperature shaping visitors' experience. Works include A Passing, with doors and heaters from a former social space, and Kin, featuring the roaming shadow of a stray dog. The title evokes rooms, enclosed spaces, legislative groups and the chambers of the heart.
