About
A monumental outdoor sculpture by Tschabalala Self, Seated, is displayed on the De La Warr Pavilion lawns until March 2027.
Tschabalala Self's monumental sculpture Seated (2022) is presented on the lawns of the De La Warr Pavilion, facing out towards the sea. The work depicts a strong, self-possessed seated woman and celebrates rest, reflection and taking up space. It was commissioned by Avant Arte, produced by Factum Arte, and the presentation is supported by Pilar Corrias Gallery, London.
