Filet Crochet - Edinburgh

A festive filet crochet workshop where improvers learn to read charts and crochet a Christmas present design, with materials provided.

Leigh Thornton leads a two-and-a-half-hour workshop teaching filet crochet, a technique using blocks and spaces to create pictures and words in crochet. Participants will learn to read a filet crochet chart and practise by making a festive Christmas present picture within a square. The session suits those who already know basic stitches such as DC and TC, and all materials are provided, with tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout in The Library at The Salisbury Centre.
