Fair Isle Knitting Workshop

Learn Fair Isle colourwork with Echo Godfrey, practising chart reading and stranded knitting in a small-group workshop.

Echo Godfrey leads a practical introduction to Fair Isle knitting traditions and two-colour techniques. Participants make a sample in the round and learn to follow a chart. This is for confident beginners who can cast on and knit in the round. Bring two contrasting yarns of the same weight, suitable double-pointed or circular needles, and stitch markers; optional materials can be purchased on the day for under £10. The workshop takes place in The Hive.
