Bradford’s Retrospective: DNA Tapestries
About
A free youth-led pop-up exhibition co-curated by young ambassadors exploring Bradford's stories through objects, film, photography and creative work.
A youth-led pop-up mini museum co-curated by Bradford District Museums & Galleries' Young Ambassadors, aged 16 to 25 from across West Yorkshire. Working with a professional freelance artist, the group has selected social history objects connected to youth, displayed alongside their own favourite objects, archival film and photography, and creative work spanning art, film, music, writing, craft and science. The displays compare young people's experiences in the museum collections with young lives today, and the project is funded by Arts Council England.
