Magical Worlds: Art Exhibition
About
Jack Thomas's collage exhibition Magical Worlds explores mysticism, cosmology and humour, open Fridays at The Salisbury Centre.
Jack Thomas's Magical Worlds is a collage exhibition exploring the mystical elements of ordinary reality, inspired by magical realism and artists such as Leonora Carrington. Drawing on influences from classic Surrealism to the thangkas of Nepali monasteries, the works blend cosmology, mysticism and humour, piecing together disparate images like a jigsaw to evoke strange stories and feelings. The exhibition is open on Fridays from 12–4:30pm between 13th November and 18th December, with other visits available by appointment. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
