Go Wild With Us UK runs a Forest School-inspired day camp at Heartwood, based at Frylands Wood Scout Centre in Selsdon, for children aged 6-11. Days are child-led, with activities such as using hand tools, camp fires, den building, knife work, friction fire lighting, arts and crafts, games and exploration, with seasonal autumn themes woven in. Groups are kept small (10-12 participants) and are led by qualified facilitators; parents do not attend. Children bring a packed lunch and snacks, with toast, a s'more and hot drinks provided, and a signed consent form is required in advance.
