Scottish LiDAR User Conference - Building Resilience in Our Landscapes
About
A free one-day conference in Edinburgh on using high-resolution LiDAR data for climate action and landscape resilience across Scotland.
ClimateXChange, in partnership with the Scottish Government, hosts this conference for the growing network of Scottish LiDAR users in government, agencies, business and research. The programme includes an introduction to the Scottish Land LiDAR Programme (2025–2027), research insights on hydrology, flood risk, erosion, peatland and forest mapping, and sessions on climate applications such as emissions, sequestration and risk mapping. Exhibitors will demonstrate different aspects of LiDAR use, and the day offers networking and knowledge exchange for those in research, government and industry.
