About
A closing-night selection of festival highlights, award announcements and filmmaker appearances.
The gala gathers selected audience and jury favourites from across the festival, with awards for sound, children’s, abstract and late-night films, followed by the Best British Film and Best Film of the Festival. The 17:00 gala includes award announcements by the festival director and judges and invitations for filmmakers to appear on stage. The 20:10 repeat presents the selected films; its source page does not bill these live stage appearances.
