CECA North East hosts a morning CPD session examining how Defined Cost is assessed and paid under NEC 4 Options C, D and E, an area the organisers describe as fertile ground for disputes. Topics include determining the normal place of working, records for time in the Working Area, weekly costs of directly employed people, bonus and incentive payments, rest days for shift work, Equipment costs, subcontract payments and the Contractor's fee percentage.
