About
A self-guided heritage trail marks people, animals and fictional characters connected with two centuries of ZSL history.
Plaques across the Zoo connect scientific discoveries, pioneering staff and popular culture with their physical locations. The 200 th-anniversary trail runs through 31 December 2026. Historical figures, animals and fictional characters discussed in the plaques are subjects rather than current performers. Zoo admission or membership is needed to visit the grounds; individual trail duration unknown.
