‘When People Throw Stones’ - Safeguarding Exhibition

A slide-show exhibition of images created by a victim-survivor for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, part of the cathedral's Safeguarding Season.

As part of Rochester Cathedral's Safeguarding Season, this exhibition in November 2026 presents images created by a victim-survivor to raise awareness of gender-based violence, timed around the 16 Days of Activism (25 November to 10 December). The images are shown as a slide show on a screen in the South Quire Transept, near the entrance to the Library. Support is available on site, with chaplains and a safeguarding contact available for anyone affected by the content.
