About

Visitors can tie ribbons on the railings outside Cathedral House to create a LOUDfence showing support and solidarity for those affected by abuse.

As part of Canterbury Cathedral's Season of Safeguarding, the LOUDfence Installation invites people to tie ribbons on the railings outside Cathedral House in support and solidarity for those affected by abuse. LOUDfence aims to give survivors, the church and wider society a voice, celebrating openness and truth-telling as a counter-challenge to cultures of silence. The installation begins on Friday 13 November and runs alongside the week's safeguarding services and events.
