The Great British Film Orchestra: The Music of John Williams vs Hans Zimmer

A chamber orchestra performs a UK tour concert contrasting the film scores of John Williams and Hans Zimmer at The Baths Hall.

The Great British Film Orchestra performs a concert-length programme pitting John Williams's scores for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman and Jurassic Park against Hans Zimmer's music for The Dark Knight, Gladiator and The Lion King. The chamber orchestra presents the two composers' styles in an orchestral duel format as part of a UK-wide tour. The show includes flashing lighting effects and loud passages, with ear protection recommended for sensitive audience members.
