The Great British Film Orchestra performs an orchestral tribute pitting the film scores of John Williams against those of Hans Zimmer.

The Great British Film Orchestra presents The Music of John Williams vs Hans Zimmer, a touring concert pairing the iconic film themes of the two composers in an orchestral duel. The programme draws on Williams' scores for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman and Jurassic Park alongside Zimmer's music for The Dark Knight, Gladiator and The Lion King. The early show runs 75 minutes at Selby Abbey, with a licensed bar available; the performance includes flashing lighting effects and loud passages, with ear protection recommended for those sensitive to sound.
