Later Show: An Orchestral Tribute To John Williams vs Hans Zimmer

The Great British Film Orchestra performs an evening tribute pitting the film scores of John Williams against those of Hans Zimmer.

The Great British Film Orchestra presents The Music of John Williams vs Hans Zimmer, a touring concert framing the two composers as rivals in an orchestral duel. The programme draws on Williams's themes for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman and Jurassic Park alongside Zimmer's scores for The Dark Knight, Gladiator and The Lion King, performed by a chamber orchestra. The show features lighting effects and loud passages, and a licensed bar is available. This is the later of two shows at the Abbey that day.
