Autumn Coppice Market
About
An annual market at Westonbirt celebrating woodland crafts and coppice products, with demonstrations and stalls from local makers.
Westonbirt's annual Coppice Market celebrates the skills, crafts and products of the woodland industry, with live demonstrations of blacksmithing, basketry, spoon carving, bowl turning, hurdle making and cleft oak work. Visitors can browse woodland products from local makers, many made from timber sustainably sourced within the arboretum, and see displays about the coppice management project in Silk Wood. Due to Storm Austen, all outdoor sales and demonstrations have been cancelled, but the Coppice Compound remains open with some sales and displays in the Barn.
