Light Up Lancaster returns for three nights of light art installations and interactive artworks illuminating the city's historic buildings, alongside hands-on family activities. The 2026 theme is 'No Boundaries', encouraging audiences to discover new connections and celebrate what brings people together. Installations run each evening from 5pm to 10pm and are free to view; a related Explore Week of free workshops runs 26–30 October at The Storey.
