Linocut Printing for Beginners

A beginner-friendly linocut printmaking workshop at Mill Tye Gallery led by local artist Helen Maxfield.

Local artist Helen Maxfield guides participants through the basics of linocut printmaking, from designing and carving a lino block to hand-printing their own artworks, including techniques for adding multiple colours in a single pass. All tools and materials are supplied, with refreshments included, and attendees leave with a set of finished prints. The session is open to complete beginners as well as those with prior experience, though it is held in an upper gallery that is not wheelchair accessible.
