Potters Wheel Taster Fri 30th October 1.30pm

A 90-minute potters wheel taster workshop for ages 16+, teaching clay preparation, centring and shaping two small pots.

This 90-minute taster session introduces the basics of throwing on a potters wheel: preparing clay, centring it on the wheel and shaping a small pot. Participants receive two 400g balls of clay to make two pots, with step-by-step instruction and demonstrations from the teacher. Finished pieces are dried, fired, glazed and re-fired over roughly two weeks before collection. The session is for ages 16+ and run by pottery teacher Christine.
