Potters Wheel Taster Weds 25th Nov 11am

A 90-minute potters wheel taster workshop for adults aged 16+, learning to make a small pot with two balls of clay.

This 90-minute taster session introduces the basics of throwing a small pot on the potters wheel, from preparing and centring the clay to shaping a form. Participants receive two 400g balls of clay to make two pots, with step-by-step instruction and demonstrations from pottery teacher Christine. Finished work is dried, fired, glazed in colours chosen during the class and re-fired, ready for collection roughly two weeks later. The session is for ages 16 and over.
