Woodland Day: Autumn Taster for 16 – 23 yr olds, The Deneway Nature Reserve
About
A free woodland taster day for 16–23 year olds at The Deneway Nature Reserve with campfire cooking, conservation tasks and green woodworking.
Sussex Wildlife Trust is running a free four-hour woodland discovery session for young people aged 16–23 at The Deneway Nature Reserve. Participants will cook lunch around a campfire, try practical woodland conservation, relax in hammocks and have a go at green woodworking and woodland crafts. The group meets at Brighton Youth Centre and travels together by bus to the site, with transport and food provided. The day also introduces a planned Woodland Discovery course in February–April 2027, with attendees invited to help shape its design.
