November Book Club - Rosewater
About
The Melanated Queers Reading Collective discusses November's pick Rosewater at this free monthly book club meeting for queer people of colour at Housmans Bookshop.
The MQRC's monthly book club meets to discuss Rosewater, with a focus on literature authored by queer people of colour across diverse genres. The meeting runs as a discussion from 7pm to 8pm, followed by an optional half hour for tea and chat while chairs are packed down. Membership is free, books are available with a discount from Housmans or via library apps, and there is no requirement to have finished the book to attend. The space is specifically for people who identify as queer people of colour, and the event is 18+.
