About
Facilitated STEAM play sessions at the Museum of Making for babies aged 0-2 and their carers, exploring museum collections through creative play.
These facilitator-led sessions invite babies aged 0-2 and their adults to explore a range of themes through Derby Museums' collections, looking at materials in different ways and getting creative with play. The sessions use a STEAM approach — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths — encouraging curiosity and enquiry-based thinking from an early age. Each one-hour session requires booking, with all children and adults needing a ticket, and participants are asked to remove shoes and bring socks.
