About
A free one-day interdisciplinary conference at the University of Reading exploring women's lives past, present and future through research talks and a panel on migration.
Marking the University of Reading's Centenary, this one-day conference brings together researchers, practitioners and community voices to examine women's experiences across time. The programme includes a keynote from Professor Benedetta Cappellini of Durham University, talks by University of Reading researchers on topics from zine-making to menopause and career disruption, and a panel discussion on 'Sanctuary, Migration and Belonging' accompanied by photographs from the Sanctuary Photography Exhibition. Refreshments and lunch are provided, and registration is free.
