Shadow Dancing

A four-hour shadow-dancing event in St Leonards with a sound ceremony, live drums and DJs, staged and lit so dancers can dance with their own shadows.

Shadow Dancing is a dance event staged and lit so participants can dance with their own shadows, with a main screen inviting everyone to have a go. The evening opens with doors and a warm-up space from 18:00, followed by a sound and water ceremony in the bell tower at 18:30 using breathing and voice. From 19:00 to 22:30, live drums and DJs provide over three hours of continuous music in the crypt, with the space described as one where personal space is respected. The event is all ages and in person.
