Banks Mill Open Studios

Free winter open studios at Banks Mill where over 50 artists, makers and creative businesses open their doors to visitors.

Banks Mill Studios opens its five floors of creative spaces to the public for its winter Open Studios, with more than 50 artists, designers, makers and creative services businesses taking part. Visitors can watch artists at work, join workshops and buy original handmade pieces directly from the makers, or talk to creative service businesses about photography and digital promotion. The mill, a former textile mill on Bridge Street managed by the University of Derby, houses creatives working across illustration, ceramics, printmaking, music and glasswork.
