Adult Jazz (General)

A general adult jazz class combining a structured warm-up, isolations, footwork, strengthening and choreography.

The class starts with a full-body warm-up using isolations, swings, stretches, footwork and floor-based strengthening. A consistent warm-up helps beginners learn it, while choreography is taught at speed without breaking down each individual step. Changing routines draw on jazz funk, electro-swing and speakeasy jazz, sometimes with pop music. Current dated listings name Leanne King; teachers or covers for later dates have not been individually announced.
