Naze Fossil Discovery, Home Education Session

A guided educational session introducing local geology and fossils, followed by a group fossil hunt on the beach.

The session begins with an introduction to the geology of The Naze and a viewing of a collection of locally found fossils, including shark teeth. Participants will receive advice on where to look for fossils before heading out on a group hunt at the beach. The event is designed to help children discover why the coastal cliffs are special.
